There’s a lot you need to know about sharks at the Historic Cottage at the San Clemente State Beach Campground!
On August 14, the San Onofre Parks Foundation hosts an event, Sharks, Myth of the Monster, for everyone to get the chance to know more about these creatures from the deep.
A captivating gallery exhibit is open for viewing to everyone from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
Everyone also has the opportunity to meet Jim Serpa, the long-time Park Ranger, Marine Educator, and SCUBA enthusiast. Come and watch his informative and fascinating presentation on the Sharks of the World. Learn about shark facts and his stories as he has encountered sharks many times in different places around the world.
Wherever Jim appeared, he drew many people, with a great multimedia show that included extremely rare samples of shark jaws and teeth. His lecture will leave every audience well-informed and prepared on how to deal with the Great White Sharks in Southern California.
