Arcades in San Clemente
Back in the 80s, being able to play video games was a privilege. Buying one was expensive. Some kids weren’t able to enjoy playing them at home. But this didn’t stop them from playing these games at all. Finding pocket change from their parents was key. Arcades started popping here and there. Before anyone knew it, arcade games made way for kids to enjoy video games.
South California was an oasis of arcades in the early 2000s. Kids and kids at heart could spare a few dollars for minutes of fun. As video games became more accessible today, arcades started leaving the limelight.
There are not many arcades in San Clemente these days. We are continually updating this page.
