North Beach – San Clemente, CA

If you go in front of the Ole Hanson Beach Club, you can find the North Beach. It’s located near the intersection of El Camino Real and Avenida Estacion. The North Beach is wider than the rest of San Clemente City Beaches, and it stretches south to the San Clemente Pier.

You can enjoy their different beach amenities like volleyball courts, picnic tables, fire rings, and swings for children. If you want to give yourself a short break from sun exposure, you can visit nearby cafes and shops.

You can see Amtrak passengers waiting nearby the beach. This is because train commuters and beachgoers have a shared parking lot area.

By the name itself, this beach is the north starting point of the San Clemente Coastal Trail. The coastal trail also accommodates walkers, runners, and cyclists so that they can enjoy the coastline between the North Beach and the Calafia Beach.
